I love to get lost. When I make art, it’s about finding a way out: of reality, of fantasy, of the past or future. Texture and material become the medium for my stories, I am trying to find beautiful and scary places that toe the line between illusion and fact. With objects, tapestries, illustrations, or sounds, I hope to take my viewers captive, and ask if they will find the right way out with me.
